Whether you’re looking to learn how to correctly mount and dismount a horse or are looking for a more therapeutic experience, we will tailor our lessons to your needs and abilities. 

Horseback riding can also help all people with cognitive, psychomotor and behavioral disabilities. Reno Rescue is a PATH International Center and we specialize in therapeutic riding.

New riders may borrow a Reno Rescue helmet for initial lessons, however, we encourage riders to purchase a helmet of their own for best fit and safety.  All riders are expected to arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of their lesson to tack up their horse.   Please be sure to fill out a liability waiver before the student’s first lesson. Park only in the designated parking lot and meet in the tacking area to the left of the barn. Please do not wander the property, pet any animals or enter private residences without permission. Please also mind the 5mph speed limit.
